Transparency
The VFBB - Verein zur Förderung der Behandlung Brandverletzter e.V., based in Munich, is independent of political parties, governments, and economic interest groups. We are financed through donations, membership fees, bequests, foundations, and fines, and have been continuously recognized as a non-profit organization worthy of special support since our founding in 1983.
Adherence to ethical standards, as well as thrift and efficiency, are top priorities in the use of the funds entrusted to us. Due to the associated costs, the VFBB has not yet applied for the donation seal of the German Central Institute for Social Issues (DZI).
Transparency is important to us. That's why we have joined Initiative Transparente Zivilgesellschaft, whose requirements we meet.
